Gymnut was always designed from the ground up to empower personal trainers, fitness influencers, and studio’s to streamline and grow their business. Although many of our trainers utilize Gymnut primarily to manage their training business, we have recently integrated some viral features that allow you to actually grow your clients and follower base.

Recently one of our elite trainers, world powerlifting champion and record holder Blaine Sumner announced on social media that he would be releasing his ‘Gorilla Warfare E-book’ for free for 48 hours (Normally sold for $39.99). A few hours later, he had over 500 followers on Gymnut, including over 150 unlocks (shares) of his E-book – That is 10x more followers than he got on Instagram over the same time period.

To get this simple yet powerful trick to work for you – follow these steps:

1) USE FREE PRODUCTS THAT PEOPLE WANT

The first step is to make sure your product has an appealing title and a high quality picture. If you set the price of any product on Gymnut to $0 (Free), the product must be shared on social media in order to unlock it. Each successful unlock shares your Gymnut store and products with their friends, and so on – creating a powerful viral loop. This works well for plans (e-books, workout/training/nutrition guides) or in-person group classes.

2) ANNOUNCE YOUR FREE PRODUCT TO GET THE BALL ROLLING

Use your social media channels, mailing lists, contact lists, online forums – to get the ball rolling on your viral product. Use compelling captions and copywriting to get enough of a push to drive viral traffic.

3) MESSAGE YOUR VIRAL LEADS TO DRIVE ENGAGEMENT

If you’ve done steps 1 and 2 correctly, you should be able to sit back and watch the viral leads fly in. To drive longterm engagement with these leads, be sure to use the Gymnut client management suite to regularly message your clients, leads, and followers with updates, new products, or unique content.

If it doesn’t work the first time, be patient, work on improving your products, & give it a greater initial push. Online marketing takes time, practice, and execution to drive results.
